We are looking for an experienced Program Manager / PMO Manager to lead implementation projects across the CEE region for major banking and financial institutions. The role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring the successful delivery of digital payment solutions.

Day to Day Activities Include

What you'll do

Manage a portfolio of implementation projects, oversee multiple project teams, control and report statuses
Ensure smooth communication between various stakeholders (business development, product, implementation specialists, bank project teams, IT, product, etc.)
Engage with the product/ operational/ compliance teams on the client side to make sure client’s onboarding process is properly understood and executed upon
Identify and mitigate risks
Ensure that program goals are reached
Support the implementation processes with expert knowledge (concerning client solutions)
Plan and implement organizational standards of Project Management Office (create document templates, sample documents, reporting structure) – for the client Managed Services activities
Assure quality, high performance, and satisfaction of stakeholders
Minimum qualifications

What you’ll bring

At least 3 years in Program Manager and/ or PMO manager role
At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, product management, or project management in the payments industry
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written English and Romanian language
Experience in product implementation (preferably in money movement, and commercial solutions)
Familiarity with the banking sector; experience in the field is an advantage
Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex and ambiguous information into clear and actionable solutions
High level of initiative, creativity, and innovation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
