Day to Day Activities Include
What you'll do
You will be part of an agile team, building from the ground up a neo-banking app, with new architecture and components, using the latest technologies.
As Android Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
You will also work on integrating the app with back-end services. You will be working alongside other developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
In your role, you will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Tech stack: Android SDK, Android Studio, Kotlin/Java, Rest APIs, Git.
Minimum qualifications
What you’ll bring
Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
Proven working experience in Android app development.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related major is preferred.
The ability to collaborate with coworkers and strong communication, relationship-building, and cooperation skills.
English - full proficiency.
